Are Excel formulas converted?

No. Only the displayed values in each cell are exported. Formulas are evaluated and their results are used.

What if my spreadsheet has multiple sheets?

Each sheet becomes a separate Markdown table in the output, with the sheet name as a heading.

Will charts export?

No. Only the cell data is converted to Markdown tables.

How does it handle empty cells?

Empty cells are preserved in the Markdown table as blank entries.

What about very large spreadsheets?

Files up to 10 MB are supported. Very wide tables may look messy in Markdown; consider splitting them.
